For 10 years Valerie Twomey, one of my very favorite yoga teachers, has been teaching yoga at Lighthouse Beach in Chatham MA!
Happy 10th Anniversary Chatham Beach Yoga!
Happily, my dear friend Julie and and I have been enjoying the bliss of doing yoga with her each year. Today was the first class of the summer season, and there was a wonderful group of yogis on the beach stretching, breathing and enjoying the gorgeous view (which included seals!).
I love the fact that we’ve been going since before my daughter was born, and now she loves going with us!
Really there is nothing better than being invited to take a full breath in, and have it be fresh ocean air that fills your lungs!
Valerie’s class works beautifully for whatever level you’re at. You can simplify or ramp it up as needed.
She’s there every morning at 7:30am, unless it’s raining. Here’s a link for more info.
If Chatham is not in your summer plans, be sure to research beach yoga in your area. It’s divine!
