Just to be clear right off the bat, it’s human to sometimes eat too much – eat when you’re not hungry – or eat something that doesn’t totally agree with you.

We all occasionally override our body’s needs, and miss the mark on taking the very best care of ourselves nutritionally.

And if we could just acknowledge that “yup, sometimes that happens” and move on, all would be well, but – and this is a big BUT – it’s not always that simple, to just move ourselves back into respecting our body and nourishing it well.

  • feeling bad about it
  • criticizing ourselves
  • punishing ourselves by doing more self-destructive eating

And then the cycle continues to the point of us feeling like we are out of control with our food, and a failure when it comes to taking care of ourselves.
