Green Smoothies are the ultimate energy drink.
Green Smoothies give me an even and steady kind of energy. Green Smoothies don’t leave me wired or tired, they make me feel clear and balanced.
- If you haven’t tried a Green Smoothie – go for it!
- If you are a regular – get creative. I am adding mint to mine these days and it’s wonderful!
Be creative, use whatever you have on hand, kale, bok choy, celery, arugula, etc. Right now there is so much incredible produce available. Whether you get it delivered through Boston Organics, or go to the farmer’s market, or the grocery store (or all of the above, like me!) go get yourself some gorgeous fresh greens!
This is how I made the green smoothie in this video
In a Vita-Mix or blender, mix:
- 1/2 cucumber
- 1 banana
- 1 whole peeled lemon
- 3/4 cup spinach
- 1/2 cup mesclun mix
- 1 cup of water (less or more depending on the consistency you like)
