I just received Cheryl Richardson’s latest newsletter in which she outlined some wisdom she had shared with her most recent workshop members.
As soon as I read it, I did the first thing on her list! She says: Make the healthy habit that feels most like a luxury, into a daily necessity. So, I sat down and meditated. I feel more balanced and connected to myself, ready for the day with an inner ease.
Take in her 10 truths. They are so apt for us busy women who are focused on taking care of everyone and everything!
- The healthy habit that feels most like a luxury needs to become a daily necessity.
- Never check email first thing in the morning.
- Don’t beat around the bush. Be brave enough to ask for what you want directly.
- Resting may be the most productive thing you do.
- Never underestimate the power of getting a full night of sleep -every night.
- “Every thought you think and every word you say is an affirmation for your future.” Louise Hay
- Embrace your resistance to change while remaining open to new possibilities.
- “Puttering” is a valid act of extreme self-care.
- Stop robbing others of their responsibilities.
- Be a creator not a responder.
Now that is some serious straight shooting inspiration! Thanks Cheryl!
