Why did I eat that!? Again.
My Belly hurts.
I knew it would.
But I ate it anyway.
I know exactly what to do.
To feel good
To feel like I’m
Taking care of me
But I don’t do it.
I feel like it’s an endless loop;
Always making the “bad” choice
Hoping for another chance tomorrow
Cooking up a new plan
Fearing I will abandon myself once again
I will fail again.
This time I will try something new;
I will stay by my side
Loyal to my care
At the ready to listen to my body
Poised to respond with kindness
Feeding myself respect
Supporting not policing
Maybe in this new loop
Of listening and loving
Day after day
My stomach and soul will feel at peace. Finally.
