This week I taught one of my favorite classes: “Feed Your Kids Well In A World That Doesn’t: Let’s Talk Sugar” at The Congregational Church in Needham MA.

It was such a privilege to be in a room of enthusiastic parents who are committed to their families’ wellness! We had such fun, we ate my homemade protein-rich cookies,  made healthy fruit ice cream and learned strategies for making healthy changes at home.

My healthy chocolate chip cookies - come to my class for the recipe 🙂

My deepest thanks and appreciation go to Jennifer Haggerty (who is a deeply committed children’s advocate via Parent Talk and Baby Basics inc.) who made it all happen.

Jennifer and Nina

Those who were at the class wanted more recipes, so I thought I’d compile a list to share with all of you.

Do you have a group of parents that want to learn how to feed their kids well in a world that doesn’t?

Let’s talk about organizing a class at your school, community center or religious organization. The feedback from this class was not only unanimously positive but parents went home and put the class into action right away. You can reach me at Nina@BodyAliveBodyAware.com
